Terms and Conditions

Claims
All goods must be examined at time of delivery. In the event of breakage or loss, the carriers, as well as ourselves, must be notified within THREE DAYS of delivery. Complaints in respect of defective bottles will only be considered if the wine is returned to us for inspectionffice.
 
Retention of Title
The Company shall retain absolute ownership of the property in the Goods which shall not pass to the Customer who shall keep the goods as the Company’s Bailee and shall deliver up the Goods to the Company at its request until full payment of the price of the Goods and any other outstanding sum is received by the Company whether or not due and owing, and until such time the customer:- (a) Shall insure the Goods against the usual risks (b) Shall store them separately or otherwise ensure that they are readily identifiable as the Company’s property (c) Irrevocably authorise the Company’s representatives at any time in circumstances to enter the Customer’s premises where the Goods are thought by the Company to be stored for the purpose of repossessing the Goods (d) Shall keep the Goods free from any charge or other encumbrance

Delivery & Closing Dates: We aim to process orders a quickly as possible, where delays are likely we will keep you informed (please supply a daytime tel no with your order). Postage is for most UK mainland addresses. Each hamper/gift is dispatched separately and therefore delivery cannot be guaranteed on the same day even where an order requests several different hampers to be sent to the same address. Please contact us for an individual P&P/Courier quote if your order is more than 10 hampers to one address at the same time. Last order date (for UK deliveries only) in time for Christmas 2010 is Tuesday 14 December 2010 by 5.00pm. Contact us for overseas deliveries.
Contents/Prices: Hampers/gifts containing alcohol may only be purchased by UK residents aged 18 or over. Vintages and labels may vary from that shown. Dimensions and capacities are approximate. All prices are correct at time of going to press, we reserve the right to change them.
Order Cancellation: If you wish to cancel an order, please contact Why Not Wine on 01625 460599 or email charlie@whynotwine.biz. It may not always be possible to stop an order being dispatched. If it has been dispatched and you wish to cancel, please refuse receipt of delivery. Cancellations that are received 3 days or more prior to delivery will receive a full refund. This will be by the same way as payment was made. If notice of cancellation is received within 3 days of scheduled delivery P&P can not be refunded and a cancellation charge equating to the return delivery may be levied. Returns Policy: For Health & Safety reasons we cannot exchange food or beverages. This does not affect your statutory rights Responsibility/Claims: Orders are accepted by us on a the understanding our terms and conditions have been read and accepted by you. We will not accept any responsibility for delivery dates not being met if orders are not received by Tuesday 14th December 2010. We will not be responsible for referring late orders back to customers. No responsibility for late delivery can be placed on us due to action of strikes, terrorism or civil war. Where no postcode is provided, or the address is inadequate in anyway, all costs of replacement or recompense are for the buyer's account. Any claims for non delivery to private homes must be notified within 14 days after the requested delivery date, and non arrival of the hamper must be confirmed in writing before any replacement will occur. Any claim for damage or shortage within the hamper can only be entertained if the carrier’s sheet has been signed. All such claims should be made within 7 days of receipt of the hamper. All information is correct at time of going to press. Data Security: We guarantee never to use any data you supply to us for any other purpose than to fulfill your order and to maintain contact with you as a customer at reasonable intervals Nut Allergy: None of our food products are suitable for nut allergy sufferers (sorry) as all are made in an environment were minute traces of nut oil may be present,
 
Half Bottles of Table Wine
From time to time we purchase small parcels of Burgundy and Bordeaux.  We will be happy to supply a list.

Delivery
Free delivery in the Greater Manchester area and North Cheshire. (Minimum order 1 case).  For deliveries outside our free area, please call for a quotation..
 
Payment
Cheque or BACS payment only (account details upon request).  Accounts are payable strictly net cash 30 days of invoice.  No receipts will be issued unless requested.
 
Supplies
All wines are quoted subject to being available.
 
Prices
The prices quoted are subject to revision due to market and duty fluctuations and may have to be altered without formal notice.  This prices listed include VAT..
